Management of ganglion by double loop suture technique

Background: Ganglion is a common cystic swelling around wrist presenting in outdoor department, clinical examination sufficient for making diagnosis of simple cyst, cosmesis and pain are main complain. Treatment includes aspiration with or without injections but has high recurrence rate, surgical excision low rate being invasive there numerous complications should be warrant depending on patient Minimal loop suture technique minimalcomplication. Aims Objectives: The aim the study was to manage ganglion by double technique. Materials Methods: One hundred four patients volar dorsal fulfilling inclusion exclusion criteria received treatment minimal technique, 6-month follow-up done reviewing any cyst. Results: From these 104 patients, 76 were females 28 males, median age 22 years. Ninety-four (90.4%) presented 10 (9.6%) had ganglion. size ganglia varied from mm 32 Cosmesis most complaint 84 (80.7%) followed (19.3%). Recurrence observed (3.8%). Complications encountered two cases form superficial infection at site entry point threads. Conclusion: Radical gold standard warranted complains as complications. Double an ambulatory procedure very promising results
